About Us
Our history
The Global Freedom Group is a 501c3 organization that was launched to bridge the gap between women, girls and policy makers. Through advocacy, we seek to amplify the voices of women and girls in public decision making spaces to strengthen human security and social justice.

Founders Award

Shawhn Bhattacharya is our 2023 Global Citizen Junior Fellow and serves as a First Lieutenant in his local Civil Air Patrol. He is an active volunteer in his school, community and serves as the President of Global Freedom Groups 2025 Youth Council
