Tahina Montoya is a first-generation Colombian-American and currently serves as an Administration Appointee where she works as Special Assistant to the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force (Manpower & Reserve Affairs). She is also a Major in the DEPARTMENT OF THE AIR FORCE Reserves and is a career Intelligence Officer. Her research as a Ph.D. candidate at Georgetown University emphasizes Women, Peace & Security, and her dissertation is entitled, "Woven Identities: The Women Behind the Mola".
